Frequently asked questions

What is an activity licence and who needs one?

It is the municipal permit that authorises you to run an activity (a bar, a shop, a clinic, a workshop…) in a specific unit. Almost any business open to the public, or with activity in a unit, industrial building or office, needs one.

Activity licence or responsible declaration: which one applies to my business?

It depends on the activity, the size of the premises and the municipality. Many activities can now be processed through a responsible declaration, which is faster; others require a licence with a full project. We review your case free of charge and tell you which route applies.

How long does it take to be able to open?

With a responsible declaration, in many cases you can start trading on the same day it is filed, once the technical documentation is ready. With a licence, the timeline depends on each Town Hall. We give you a realistic estimate before starting.

What do you need from me to give a quote?

Just two things: what activity you want to open and the address of the premises. With that we give you a clear, closed quote, with no obligation, and if you go ahead we visit the premises and take care of everything.

What if the Town Hall asks for corrections or sends a formal request?

We answer on your behalf. We follow the file through to the end, including any requests or corrections: it is included in our service.

Which areas do you work in?

In the city of Madrid and the whole Community of Madrid, and in the province of Toledo and La Mancha, from our offices in Navalcarnero, Madrid and Tomelloso.
